Remembering Church Oct. 8-Nov. 19 at SVDP
ANDOVER – Remembering Church, a series designed to invite those who have been away from the church to consider returning to the faith, will begin Oct. 8 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
The program is offered at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the church, 123 N. Andover Road.

Photographs related to Cathedral sought
The Office of Development and Planned Giving is in need of photographs of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Cathedral School.

St. Anne plans fall arts and crafts fair Oct. 25
WICHITA – St. Anne Parish is resurrecting its arts and crafts fair this fall.
The parish is planning a fair on Sunday, Oct. 25, in connection with the parish's annual Fall Dinner.

St. Teresa’s Big Splash on Sunday, Oct. 11
HUTCHINSON - St. Teresa Parish’s annual Big Splash fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11.
The fundraiser will end with a drawing for 19 major raffle prizes.
Tickets are $5 and include lunch, the carnival, crazy bingo, silent auction, ice cream social, and a great Country Western Show. Children three and under get in free. Tickets for the raffle may be obtained from any parishioner or at the event.
Proceeds will go for school repairs and janitorial equipment.

Holy Spirit, Goddard, benefit set for Oct. 17
GODDARD – Holy Spirit Catholic School is hosting a Caribbean Sunset Dinner, dance and benefit auction from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center. The center is located in the Newman University Library.
The cost is $25 per ticket and includes dinner, dessert, and beverages. Live and silent auctions will be held along with music and dancing. For tickets call Dana at (316) 253-6788.

Blessed Sacrament’s Oktoberfest Saturday
WICHITA – Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3810 E. Douglas, will host its 7th Annual Oktoberfest from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.
Festivities begin at 10 a.m. as the Rosstoberfest 5k and 1 mile fun-runs.
The day will feature traditional German food, kids’ events and rides, hay rack rides, a silent auction, and a dodgeball tournament. Live music will be performed all day in the beer garden. A dance to music by Timbuktu will be held from 8 to 10 p.m.
This year’s proceeds will benefit StepStone, the Blessed Sacrament crisis fund, and the Blessed Sacrament conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.

Derby Knights to have barbecue on Oct 24
The Derby Knights of Columbus are hosting a barbecue from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in the St. Mary School gym on the corner of Madison and Derby Avenue.
Tickets are $10, for dine-in or carryout.

St. Michael Parish, Mulvane, Fall Festival Dinner Sunday, Oct. 11
MULVANE – St. Michael Parish’s Fall Festival Dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11.
The dinner will be an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring barbecue beef brisket, smoked brisket, pulled pork, German sausage, hot links – all cooked by “Chef” Tony Hock, homemade baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, dessert and a drink.
Prices for the dinner are $8 for adults and children 10 and older, and $4 for children under age 10. Carryout will be available.
St. Michael’s Parish is located at 525 E. Main in Mulvane. All proceeds from the dinner will go to St. Michael’s building fund.

1959 class from St. Joe, Wichita, hosting reunion Oct. 17
The 1959 8th grade class of St. Joseph Catholic Grade School, Wichita, is hosting a reunion beginning at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in the St. Joseph Parish Activity Center.  Lunch will be served.
