Rachel’s Vineyard,” a post-abortion retreat for both women and men struggling with the psychological or spiritual pain of abortion, will be offered in Wichita, Sept. 11-13.
Exact location of the retreat is kept confidential, and will only be released to registered participants.
“Rachel’s Vineyard” retreat was written by Theresa Burke, Ph.D., and is sponsored in our diocese by the Respect Life and Social Justice Office. Tama Dutton, the director of the office said, “Men and women may seek help anywhere from 5 to 20 years following their abortion, often after years of suffering in confusion and silence. Married couples, mothers, fathers, grandparents and siblings, as well as persons who have been involved in the abortion industry, have come to Rachel’s Vineyard in search of peace and have experienced a lasting and true reconciliation.”
